Shipping & Returns

Order Confirmation:

As soon as you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail.  This means that we have received your order in our system and your credit card has been charged for the purchase.   If your item is on back order or unavailable, we will reach out to you via e-mail. If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment (within 5 business days), we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment.

 

Order Shipment:

Products that are not custom made normally ship within five business days from the date of your order.  We will send you tracking information for your order once it has left our warehouse to the e-mail address you provided when checking out.  You can expect delivery roughly a week after your table leaves the warehouse, but will depend heavily on your local delivery company's availability.  Your local company will contact you directly to confirm a date and time for delivery.

Please allow and extra 1-2 weeks for custom-made products. These typically arrive within 2-4 weeks of the date you places your order.

 

Delivery procedures:

We offer complimentary curbside delivery for locations in the continental United States.   (This is usually adequate for items that are either not heavy or are being delivered to a location with a loading dock.)  

Residential deliveries are generally best served with Lift Gate Service.  This is a special truck designed to unload heavy products without the use of a loading dock or fork lift.   Most local lift gate service providers we have worked with will also assist in bringing the item inside for you as well, but as these are separate companies, we as The Rec Room Game Company cannot guarantee this.  We recommend you should have a furniture dolly and/or another person there to assist in receiving.  

Some companies will bring your item inside to your room of choice, others will charge an extra fee for this.  If you require extra assistance with receiving your item and light assembly, White Glove Service is available in many areas for an additional fee.  White Glove service can be anything from inside delivery to help with assembly and package removal and cost varies drastically by location, service, and product.  Please contact us if you are interested and we will be happy to provide a quote.  

The trucking company will get in touch with you to arrange for the delivery date and time.  Please note that some trucking companies do not deliver on weekends.  If you would like to check on the possibility of a weekend delivery option, contact us and we will be happy to inquire with your local delivery service on your behalf.

Orders shipping to more remote areas may be subject to additional shipping charges.  If we are informed that this applies to your delivery, we will contact you prior to processing your order.

 

International Orders

Yes - many of our items are available to ship internationally!  Please contact us prior to placing your order and we will be able to provide you with a delivery quote.  Please note that all shipping, handling, and any applicable tarrifs costs are for orders outside of the continental United States are the responsibility of the buyer.

 

Damages:

  • Make sure you inspect game tables and the boxes they arrive in before signing the BOL (Bill of Lading). By signing the BOL they are stating that it arrived in perfect condition and that the LTL carrier isn’t responsible for damages while it was in transit. 
  • If the box is damaged with holes or is ripped, don't sign for it and refuse the shipment. This holds the logistics company liable for damages.  Not the dealer or the customer. 
  • If you notice any damages, take photos if you notice anything suspicious with the cargo and again don’t sign the BOL and refuse the shipment.

 

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS:

All orders canceled after 48 hours are subject to a $20 administration fee, whether or not your order has shipped.  If you order has shipped, you (the buyer) will also be responsible for actual return shipping charges and restocking fees.

Policies vary by manufacturer.  In the event of a discrepancy between our return policy and the of the manufacturer, the manufacturer's policy will take precedence.

Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card that you use when placing your order.  Returned items must be in resale condition and in original packaging.  Please contact us before attempting to return any items.  We cannot be responsible for items returned incorrectly or to the wrong address.

Sorry, custom-made products are not returnable.  

 

Please note that if you received free shipping on your item, the cost incurred by The Rec Room Game Company to ship your item will be deducted from any eligible refund.
